MULLANE TIMELINE

1928

James F. Mullane started in the automobile business selling the Overland car, Willys Knight & Overland Whippets in Niagara Falls, New York.

1945
Arthur Mullane (James' son) opens Mullane Motors, Inc. selling Plymouths & De Sotos in Lockport, New York, facing our famous locks.

1955
James F. & John A. (Jack) Mullane (Arthur's twin sons) take over Mullane Motors, Inc. after their father passed away.

1969
Mullane Motors acquires the Chrysler franchise and make plans for a new facility.

1970
Mullane Motors cuts the ribbon on a brand new dealership on South Transit Rd. just south of Lockport, NY.

1981
Mullane Motors acquires the Dodge franchise to become a "full-line" Chrysler dealer. For the first time Mullane Motors has a truck franchise.

1986
Mullane purchases the former Great Lakes Battery building located south of the Chrysler dealership. The entire building was remodeled in the hopes of obtaining an additional franchise.

1990
The Mullanes were awarded the Mitsubishi franchise.
During that same year, Jim & Jack Mullane build a new state-of-the-art body shop.

1994
Mullane's begins a half million dollar renovation and expansion to add 7500 square feet to the existing building.

1996
Mullane opens the first "Used Car Superstore" in Western New York.

1999

Mullane acquires Krueger Chevrolet in Ransomville, NY.

2000
Mullane Lockport acquires Jeep Franchise.
